Starting tonight, 15 days will house eight road games, as the Predators complete their longest road trip in franchise history.
Nashville (10-14-0) dropped three consecutive games to conclude their five-game homestand and their next challenge will be games at Dallas, Carolina, Tampa Bay, Florida and Dallas again. In Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Panthers, the Preds welcomed forward Mathieu Olivier and defenseman Alexandre Carrier back into the lineup. Center Matt Duchene was placed on Injured Reserve on Saturday morning. He is expected to be out for 3-5 weeks with a lower-body injury.
The Stars (7-8-4) also played yesterday and won, 5-0, over the Blue Jackets. Dallas and Nashville had two games postponed in February and will make them up tonight and on March 21.
Sunday Evening Update: The Predators recalled forward Rem Pitlick and defenseman Ben Harpur from the taxi squad. They also reassigned defenseman Alexandre Carrier to the taxi squad.
