The Predators' last road trip of the regular season will take place in Columbus.
Nashville (28-22-2) triumphed on Saturday - in likely their biggest game of the regular season - with a 1-0 win in overtime over the Dallas Stars. The two points gave the Predators a little more cushion over the Stars in the race for the fourth and final playoff spot in the Central Division. With four games to go in the regular season, it's possible Nashville could clinch a postseason berth this week.
Forwards Filip Forsberg and Brad Richardson and defenseman Alexandre Carrier returned from injury for Saturday's win. The trio of players had all been out of the lineup for more than a month. Forwards Viktor Arvidsson (upper body, day-to-day) and Nick Cousins (non-COVID illness) both missed the contest. Additionally, blueliner Dante Fabbro is day-to-day.
The Blue Jackets (16-25-11) have points in three-straight games (1-0-2) but sit in last in the division. Columbus begins a four-game homestand this evening.
The Predators held a full morning skate on Monday at Nationwide Arena. Below is a projected lineup based on the session:
