The third and final act between the Predators and Flames comes tonight in Calgary (at 9 p.m. CT).
Nashville (19-9-1) dropped the opening game of their two-game road trip, 5-3, to the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday evening. Goaltender Pekka Rinne started the contest, but was replaced by Juuse Saros to start the third. The Preds are expected to be without their four players on Injured Reserve (Viktor Arvidsson, Filip Forsberg, Kyle Turris and P.K. Subban) again tonight.
Calgary (18-9-2) is 1-1-0 against Nashville so far this season. The Flames have won four in a row, but saw captain Mark Giordano and Ryan Lomberg suspended following their 2-0 win over the Wild on Thursday. Mikael Backlund was also injured in the contest. All three will miss tonight's game.
The Predators held a full morning skate on Saturday at Scotiabank Saddledome. Austin Watson was not on the ice for the session. Below is a Preds projected lineup based on the session:
