The Nashville Predators open a three-game home stand on Thursday night (at 7 p.m. CT) with their second contest against the Edmonton Oilers in the last two weeks.

The Preds (24-18-8) have points in five-straight at Bridgestone Arena, a place they'll be for nine games this month. The Oilers (28-16-8) begin a three-game road trip with the first of two games in two days in Music City and Carolina. Edmonton lost their last contest 5-2 to the Wild and fell to the Predators in a shootout at Rogers Place on Jan. 20 (but won the three games in between those two bookends).

Nashville is hoping to see star d-man Roman Josi (Injured Reserve; upper-body) back in the lineup soon. Josi has skated during the previous several practices and morning skates, but is yet to join in with the defense during line rushes.

The Preds held an optional morning on Thursday, below is a projected lineup based Wednesday's practice:

Forwards

Filip Forsberg - Ryan Johansen - Viktor Arvidsson

Austin Watson - Mike Fisher - Craig Smith

Colin Wilson - Calle Jarnkrok - James Neal

Cody McLeod - Colton Sissons - Harry Zolnierczyk

Defense

Matt Irwin - Ryan Ellis

Mattias Ekholm - P.K. Subban

Anthony Bitetto - Yannick Weber

Goaltenders
