Predators Could Get Bonino Back in the Lineup to Face Red-Hot Sabres

A Monday night meeting between the Buffalo Sabres and Nashville Predators has turned into a game circled on the calendar with both teams in the top five in the NHL standings. 

Nashville (18-8-1) rebounded on Saturday night to defeat the Chicago Blackhawks despite missing many of their top players. Viktor Arvidsson, Filip Forsberg, Kyle Turris and P.K. Subban remain on Injured Reserve. Nick Bonino missed the last game due to illness. 

Buffalo (17-7-3) has dropped their last two after winning 10 consecutive games. The Sabres are led by former Predators Assistant Coach Phil Housley with former Preds goaltender Carter Hutton in net. 

Prior to Monday's morning skate, the Preds reassigned forward Anthony Richard to Milwaukee. 

The Predators held a full morning skate on Monday at Bridgestone Arena and were joined by Bonino. Below is a projected lineup based on the session:
