A Monday night meeting between the Buffalo Sabres and Nashville Predators has turned into a game circled on the calendar with both teams in the top five in the NHL standings.

Buffalo (17-7-3) has dropped their last two after winning 10 consecutive games. The Sabres are led by former Predators Assistant Coach Phil Housley with former Preds goaltender Carter Hutton in net.
