Game No. 3 of a four-game home stand comes tonight (at 7 p.m. CT) for the Nashville Predators as they host the Anaheim Ducks in a Western Conference Final rematch.
Nashville (15-7-3) was unable to extend their home winning streak to seven on Thursday, falling to the Vancouver Canucks, 5-3, after losing a third-period lead. The Predators held an optional morning skate on Saturday; on Friday at practice, Viktor Arvidsson was given a maintenance day and Scott Hartnell, who is still on Injured Reserve, filled in on the first line. Defensemen Yannick Weber (IR) and Ryan Ellis (non-roster injury) also participated in the practice.
The Ducks (11-11-4) have lost five of six games, including last night, 4-2, to the Columbus Blue Jackets. Anaheim, who will be without the injured Ryan Getzlaf, Ryan Kesler and Patrick Eaves, will be making their first trip back to Smashville since falling in Game 6 of the Conference Final in May.
Below is a projected lineup for Nashville based on Friday's practice:
