Nashville, Tenn. (August 22, 2017) - Join the Nashville Predators on Thursday, Aug. 24, as they host their most eventful Open House yet. From 5 - 8 p.m. (CT), the Nashville Predators Open House will feature a wide range of activities for the entire family to enjoy.

Fans can check out the 2017-18 ice for the first time as it's being painted on, meet the 2017-18 Preds Broadcast Team, secure season-ticket locations and watch anthem singer auditions judged by local celebrities. Bring the whole family and enjoy complimentary popcorn and Pepsi products, street hockey and tours of the arena, while we undergo building upgrades in advance of Opening Night.

Predators Expand Little Preds Learn to Play

Hockey Program Grows Throughout Tennessee, Makes its Way to Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Arkansas and Mississippi

Nashville, Tenn. (August 21, 2017) - The Nashville Predators hockey program Little Preds Learn to Play has expanded beyond Tennessee state lines. This program, which is conducted in partnership with the NHL and NHLPA, is a fun and effective way to learn hockey while engaging children to keep them lifelong hockey fans.

The Little Preds Learn to Play expansion to rinks in 11 different cities include Antioch, Knoxville and Nashville, Tennessee; Olive Branch, Mississippi; Decatur and Huntsville, Alabama; and Kennesaw and Duluth, Georgia; Lexington and Louisville, Kentucky; and Little Rock, Arkansas. In total, it is expected Little Preds Learn to Play will reach as many as 1,700 children this year.

 "We are excited to see our Little Preds program grow as this is a direct reflection of the growth of hockey in our state," Senior Vice President of Ticket Sales, Premium Sales & Youth Hockey Nat Harden said. "In addition to the growth, we are excited about the large role our Predators alumni will play in introducing and teaching children to play. Preds Partner with Window World for 2017-18 Season

Partnership Will See Activations Along Main Concourse of Bridgestone Arena, Ice Maintenance Team's Uniforms

Nashville, Tenn. (August 21, 2017) - The Nashville Predators have announced a new partnership with Window World as they enter the 2017-18 season. This partnership will be seen through activations along the main concourse inside Bridgestone Arena, as well as through sponsorships of the ice maintenance team's uniforms.

2017-18 Nashville Predators Mini Plans on Sale Aug. 24

(August 15, 2017) - Starting today, any fan who purchased a multi-game ticket package during the 2016-17 season has the opportunity to purchase a 10-game mini plan before the public on-sale on Aug. 24. From Aug. 15-24, season-ticket holders can purchase the Loyal Legion 10-Game Plan presented by Puckett's Gro. & Restaurant to receive the most flexibility offered for any ticket package, as well as similar benefits to a full or half season-ticket holder.

First Tennessee Brent Peterson Golf Classic, Preds Party on Sept. 11-12

(August 11, 2017) - For the seventh consecutive year, the Nashville Predators Foundation and Peterson Foundation for Parkinson's will host the First Tennessee Brent Peterson Golf Classic and First Tennessee Petey's Preds Party to support the community work of both foundations. Held on Sept. 11 (Petey's Party) and Sept. 12 (Golf Classic), the events are highlighted by interaction with Nashville Predators players and alum and celebrities from around sports and entertainment.

The two-day event makes its debut at 6 p.m. Monday evening with the First Tennessee Petey's Preds Party at Bridgestone Arena, a party that includes an elegant dinner buffet, dessert, soda, beer and wine. Entertaining the crowd will be comedian Nate Bargatze. In addition, the evening's event will feature a world-class auction featuring one-of-a-kind experiences and premier autographed memorabilia from the sports and entertainment industry.

Preds Call Upon Fans to Help Choose Anthem Singer

Singers May Submit Recordings to be Next Anthem Singer Until Aug. 13; Fans Will Vote to Select Winner

Nashville, Tenn. (August 2, 2017) - The Nashville Predators are calling all of Smashville to assist in their search for an anthem singer who will make their debut during the Preds 2017-18 season.

From Wednesday, Aug. 2 to Sunday, Aug. 13, fans can submit their entries through an application on NashvillePredators.com. After this time, 10 finalists will be invited to perform in front of a live audience and celebrity judges, where the top four contestants will move onto the final round - performing during the Nashville Predators' preseason games.

The top vote-getter at the end of the preseason schedule, will perform at select home games through the 2017-18 season, with the second and third place contestants acting as fill-ins based on availability.

Preds Sign Ryan Johansen to Eight-Year, $64 Million Contract

Center Co-Led Predators in Points in 2016-17; Signs Biggest Deal Given Out in Predators History

Nashville, Tenn. (July 28, 2017) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Friday that the Predators have signed center Ryan Johansen to an eight-year, $64 million contract that will pay him an average of $8 million annually through the 2024-25 season.

Johansen, 24 (7/31/92), co-led the Predators in scoring during the 2016-17 campaign with 61 points while appearing in all 82 games, recording 14 goals and 47 assists. His 47 assists during the most recent campaign set a career high. The 6-foot-3, 218-pound native of Vancouver, British Columbia then added three goals and 13 points in 14 games during Nashville's postseason run before being sidelined in the Western Conference Final due to injury.

Preds Sign Austin Watson to Three-Year Contract

After Setting Career Highs in Goals, Assists and Points Watson Signs for Three Years

Nashville, Tenn. (July 24, 2017) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Monday that the club has signed forward Austin Watson to a three-year, $3.3 million contract that will pay him $1 million in 2017-18, $1.1 million in 2018-19 and $1.2 million in 2019-20.

Watson, 25 (1/13/92), set career highs in goals (5), assists (7), points (12), penalty minutes (99) and games played (77) during the 2016-17 season as he established himself as an integral member of the Nashville roster. The 6-foot-4, 204-pound winger then added four goals and nine points in 22 postseason contests as the Predators advanced to the 2017 Stanley Cup Final. Watson also appeared in 57 games for the Predators during the 2015-16 season, recording three goals and 10 points.

Preds Sign Viktor Arvidsson to Seven-Year, $29.75 Million Contract

Fourth-Round Pick in 2014 Scored 31 Goals in 2016-17 Season

Nashville, Tenn. (July 22, 2017) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the Predators have signed forward Viktor Arvidsson to a seven-year, $29.75 million contract that will pay him an average of $4.25 million annually through the 2023-24 season.

Arvidsson, 24 (4/8/93), tied for the Predators lead in goals (31) and points (61) during the 2016-17 season, hitting the 30-goal mark alongside fellow Swede and linemate, Filip Forsberg. Arvidsson also added 30 assists in 80 games for Nashville, with his 45-point improvement from 2015-16 being the second-most in the NHL in 2016-17. The 5-foot-9, 180-pound winger also led the League in shorthanded goals, and all Preds forward in plus/minus rating (+16). Arvidsson then recorded three goals and 13 points in 22 games during his team's run to the 2017 Stanley Cup Final.
