Nashville, Tenn. (Dec. 13, 2017) ― In conjunction with the official grand opening of its Americas headquarters, Bridgestone Americas, Inc. and the Nashville Predators announced Wednesday an additional five-year extension of the naming rights agreement for Bridgestone Arena, home of the Nashville Predators. First signed in March of 2010, the extended terms will ensure Nashville's premier downtown arena continues to bear the Bridgestone brand through 2025.

"Bridgestone is a proud supporter of the Nashville Predators, and it continues to be a great source of pride for our company and our teammates to have the arena bear our name," said Bridgestone Americas President and CEO Gordon Knapp. "Now that our new headquarters building is located across the street from the arena, there's even more of a connection to our city and pro hockey team. Like the rest of the world, we've witnessed the success of both the arena and the Preds, and we are excited to continue our partnership with a local landmark that has helped transform downtown Nashville into one of the top destinations in the country. Predators Reassign Frederick Gaudreau to Milwaukee

Nashville, Tenn. (December 13, 2017) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Tuesday that the club has reassigned forward Frederick Gaudreau to the American Hockey League's Milwaukee Admirals.

Gaudreau has skated in 17 games with Nashville this season, tallying three assists and averaging 9:34 of ice time per game. He recorded his first career multi-point game on Nov. 3 at Anaheim when he picked up two assists in Nashville's 5-3 victory and had an assist on Dec. 5 at Dallas. In seven games with the Admirals in 2017-18, Gaudreau has four points (1g-3a) and is +3 with 15 shots on goal.

Nashville, Tenn. (December 11, 2017) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Monday that the club has recalled goaltender Juuse Saros from the American Hockey League's Milwaukee Admirals. Additionally, the club has reassigned goaltender Anders Lindback to Milwaukee.

Saros is 2-3-1 for the Predators this season and made a career-high 43 saves in Tuesday's win at Dallas. He's 2-0-1 in his last three starts with a .933 save percentage, allowing only eight goals on 120 shots against. Saros made two appearances for the Admirals over the weekend, picking up the victory in overtime on Saturday in a 23-save performance against Manitoba.

(December 8, 2017) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Friday that the club has recalled goaltender Anders Lindback from the American Hockey League's Milwaukee Admirals. Additionally, the club has reassigned goaltender Juuse Saros to Milwaukee and placed forward Ryan Johansen on Injured Reserve.

Lindback is tied for the AHL-lead in wins with 11 and is eighth in save percentage with a .923 mark. He's posted a 2.43 goals-against average (12th in AHL) and 11-5-0 record in 16 starts to go with one shutout for the Admirals this season, who sit in second place in the AHL's Central Division. Lindback began the AHL campaign with five consecutive victories and made 32 saves in his last start with Milwaukee on Dec. 5.

(December 3, 2017) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Sunday that the club has recalled goaltender Juuse Saros from the American Hockey League's Milwaukee Admirals. Additionally, the club has assigned goaltender Anders Lindback to Milwaukee.

Saros has made four appearances for the Admirals this season, stopping 97 of 111 shots in 238:12 of action. In five starts for Nashville in 2017-18, Saros is 1-3-1 with an .870 save percentage and earned the win on Nov. 4 against Los Angeles as the Preds defeated the Kings, 4-3, in overtime. Last season, he made 19 starts for the Preds, going 10-8-3 with a 2.35 goals-against average and .923 save percentage.

Nashville, Tenn. (December 1, 2017) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Friday that Jeff Kealty - formerly the team's Chief Amateur Scout - has been promoted to Director of Player Personnel.

Kealty, who is in his 17th season with the Predators franchise, will assist Poile and Assistant General Manager Paul Fenton on all player personnel decisions in addition to the duties he is already responsible for as Chief Amateur Scout.

"Jeff has been with the franchise since our early years, and our growth and success in the draft and beyond is a reflection of him and his staff," Poile said. "Given his eye for talent, it is appropriate for Jeff to assume a larger role in the hockey operations department while still managing amateur scouting and the draft. We look forward to his insight on all player personnel decisions from this point forward."

(November 30, 2017) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Thursday that the club has recalled goaltender Anders Lindback from the American Hockey League's Milwaukee Admirals. Additionally, the club has reassigned goaltender Juuse Saros to Milwaukee.

Lindback leads the AHL in wins with 11 and is seventh in save percentage with a .925 mark. He's posted a 2.32 goals-against average and 11-4-0 record in 15 starts to go with one shutout for the Admirals this season, who sit in second place in the AHL's Central Division. Lindback began the AHL campaign with five consecutive victories and made 40 saves in his last start with Milwaukee on Nov. 28, leading the Admirals to a 4-2 win over the Iowa Wild.

Through seven games with the Admirals, Gaudreau has one goal and three assists along with 15 shots on goal. Prior to being sent to Milwaukee on Nov. 10, the 6-foot forward tallied two points (2a) in 10 games with the Predators, firing 11 shots and averaging 10:18 of ice time. Gaudreau recorded his first career multi-point game on Nov. 3 at Anaheim when he picked up two assists in Nashville's 5-3 victory.

Nashville, Tenn. (November 20, 2017) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Monday that the club has recalled goaltender Juuse Saros from the American Hockey League's Milwaukee Admirals and forward Pontus Aberg from his conditioning stint with the Admirals. Additionally, the club has assigned goaltender Anders Lindback to Milwaukee.

Saros appeared in two games for Milwaukee on Thursday and Saturday, stopping 45 of 52 shots as the Admirals fell to the Cleveland Monsters in both games. The Finnish goaltender has made four starts in goal for the Predators this season, going 1-3-0 with a .855 save percentage. Saros earned his first win of the season - a 4-3 overtime decision in Los Angeles - in his last start with the Preds on Nov. 4. He holds a career NHL record of 11-12-3 along with a 2.64 goals-against average and .912 save percentage.

New York (Nov. 19, 2017) - Nashville Predators forward Austin Watson has been suspended for two games, without pay, for boarding Colorado Avalanche forward Dominic Toninato during NHL Game No. 302 in Nashville on Saturday, Nov. 18, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced Monday.

The incident occurred at 11:47 of the first period. Watson was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for boarding.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and, based on his average annual salary, Watson will forfeit $11,827.96. The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
