After an impressive five-game stint with the Florida Everblades to start the new season, Tanner Jeannot is hoping to find a spot in Nashville.
The 23-year-old signed a three-year, entry-level deal with the Predators back in April of 2018, and following two successful seasons with the Milwaukee Admirals, Jeannot is in the conversation as a potential piece for the Preds.

A physical, 6-foot-2 forward, Jeannot posted 20 points and 87 penalty minutes with the Admirals last season. He spent the past few weeks with the Everblades in the ECHL to start the 2020-21 season, tallying three goals and six points in five games.
Predators General Manager David Poile has mentioned Jeannot on occasion as a forward who could get a look this season with the big club.
By the Numbers:
- Jeannot has 33 career points with Milwaukee of the AHL over the past two seasons. He has also played eight games with the Everblades during that time and recorded 11 points.
- He spent four seasons with the Moose Jaw Warriors of the Western Hockey League, amassing 170 points (77g-93a) in 267 regular-season games and 18 points (6g-12a) in 23 postseason contests.
- Jeannot was an alternate captain in 2017-18, and he ranked third in the WHL in plus/minus rating (+49), as well as third on the Warriors in goals (40) and fourth in points (80), helping the club to a league-best 52-15-5 record.
Fun Fact:
- Jeannot's hometown of Oxbow, Saskatchewan, had a population of 1,328 in 2016.
