Preds vs. Avalanche, Game 2: How to Watch, Live Stream

The Nashville Predators have a chance to add to their Round One series lead against the Colorado Avalanche with Game 2, presented by Nissan, coming this afternoon at Bridgestone Arena.
Game 1 on Thursday night saw the Preds score four unanswered against the Avs - including two in the third period from Filip Forsberg - on their way to a 5-2 victory in Game 1.
Nashville was pleased with their finish on Thursday, but the start left something to be desired, and it'll be a focal point this afternoon, as the Preds would prefer not to play from behind against a speedy Avalanche team.

"I just liked the way we got better throughout the game," forward Colton Sissons said after Friday's practice. "I think we were all a little bit nervous, and it was a long day of anxiety before that game. We came out a little flat and a little slower than we wanted to, so I think we definitely got better and took over the game as it continued on. You have to like getting a big win at home in Game 1 of the playoffs and we just have to build on that momentum."
Nashville is seeking a 2-0 series lead for just the third time in franchise history, and first since Round One last season against Chicago.
According to the Elias Sports Bureau, teams that take a 1-0 lead in a best-of-seven series are 458-209 all time. The Preds are 6-2 in series in which they won Game 1 and are 1-1 when winning Game 1 at Bridgestone Arena.

Last Time Out:
Along with Forsberg, Austin Watson, Craig Smith and Colton Sissons also tallied for Nashville in Game 1, while Pekka Rinne made 25 saves to earn his 37th career postseason victory. With two points on Thursday night, Forsberg is now with Shea Weber and David Legwand for the franchise lead in all-time playoff points with 28.
Forsberg, Watson, Sissons and Ryan Johansen all had two points in Game 1; Smith scored, while Roman Josi and Viktor Arvidsson each tallied an assist.
The Opposition:
Nikita Zadorov and Blake Comeau were the goal-scorers for Colorado in Game 1 with Jonathan Bernier surrendering four goals on 30 shots in the loss. Avalanche Head Coach Jared Bednar said Friday he would not be making any changes to his lineup for Game 2.

Game 1 Highlights:
With a pair of goals in Game 1, Filip Forsberg moved into a share of the franchise's all-time playoff points lead with 28 (17g-11a), tying him with David Legwand (13g-15a) and Shea Weber (13g-15a).
Pekka Rinne won his 37th career playoff game on Thursday, setting a record for the most postseason victories by a Finnish-born goaltender. Rinne passed Antti Niemi, who has logged 36 playoff wins with Chicago, San Jose and Dallas.

Game 2, presented by Nissan, comes with a 2 p.m. CT start at Bridgestone Arena, with doors set to open to the general public at noon. Due to expected inclement weather today, both the pregame plaza party and Walk of Fame watch party have been cancelled.
All fans in attendance for today's game will receive a Gold or white t-shirt presented by Nissan, Kroger, Catchin' Deers, Gray Line, Hunt Brothers Pizza, Delta Dental of Tennessee and Team Construction and an expandable banner presented by Nissan. Fans are also asked to be in their seats by 1:50 to view the Predators pregame ceremonies.
