Just over three months separate the Nashville Predators from participating in the 2020 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic, and they're about to have a fresh look when the puck drops outdoors.
The Preds have unveiled a brand-new shoulder patch logo for the jerseys Nashville will sport at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas on New Year's Day, and it's got some bite.

From adidas, who worked with the Predators to design the new logo: "Today, adidas and the Nashville Predators unveil a new logo, which takes the form of a roaring saber-toothed tiger's head and represents the Predators' size, strength and speed.
"Designed for the 2020 NHL Winter Classic, the new logo is created with a heritage aesthetic and features classic felt with custom embroidery. A navy head of the saber-toothed tiger takes place on the jersey's shoulder and features gold, white and red detailing."
It's the first new logo the Preds have revealed since the 2011-12 season, and it's just a preview of what's to come when the club unveils their Winter Classic jerseys, which is expected to take place in early November.
Fans may
