Preds to Participate in 3rd Annual "Community Day"

Nashville, Tenn. (October 17, 2008) – The Nashville Predators will host their third annual “Community Day” on Monday, October 20, where every single member of the team will make a community appearance in Middle Tennessee. While all players make a number of appearances throughout the season, Monday’s event will be the Predators’ third time in which more than 20 of the club’s players will be involved in separate endeavors on the same day.

Appearances will be made at places such as schools, youth hockey practices, a hospital and corporate sponsors. Players will be visiting patients, reading and interacting with students, teaching hockey clinics, assisting sponsors and greeting fans.

Among the locations will be Jordin Tootoo and Patric Hornqvist serving food and greeting customers from 5-6 pm at the Wendy's on 36 Whitebridge Road; David Legwand and Jed Ortmeyer serving food and greeting customers from 5-6 pm at the Cracker Barrel on 6941 Charlotte Pike; Greg de Vries and Shea Weber serving food and greeting customers from 6-7 pm at the O'Charley's on 100 Eastpark Drive in Brentwood.
