Preds Scheduled to Air on NBCSN Twice in 2016-17

Anticipation for the Nashville Predators 2016-17 regular season, one that is set to rank among the franchise’s best, grew a bit more on Thursday with the release of the NBC Sports Network broadcast schedule.

After a four-game slate on NBCSN last season, the Preds will air on the national network twice during 2016-17, including their Opening Night matchup versus the Chicago Blackhawks. The nation will have the opportunity to take in P.K. Subban’s first game as a Predator when Nashville hosts Chicago on Friday, October 14 at 7 p.m. (CT).

Next, the Predators will then play their penultimate road game of the regular-season campaign with a contest in Big D versus the Stars (April 6, 2016, at 7 p.m. CT).

Following their furthest push into the Stanley Cup Playoffs this past spring, Music City, along with the Predators top-ranked defense led by Roman Josi and P.K. Subban, rising star Filip Forsberg and goaltender Pekka Rinne will receive national exposure to the hockey world on two occasions this coming campaign.

Date: Road: Home: Network: Time (CT):
Friday, October 14 Blackhawks Predators NBCSN 7:00 p.m.
Thursday, April 6 Predators Stars NBCSN 7:00 p.m.
