Today, Wednesday, Jan. 7, just so happens to be National Bobble Head Day. To honor such a momentous day, is there a better occasion to reveal the remaining three Preds to be enshrined in miniature form than on a day such as this?
Already on the young season, Nashville has handed out bobble heads at three separate games, meaning roughly 51,000 mini-Preds have been given to fans. Replicas of James Neal, Pekka Rinne and Shea Weber started the series of six bobble heads coming from the Predators this season, and on Wednesday, the club revealed the identities of the other three.
Center Mike Fisher will be the next up on Jan. 16 against the Washington Capitals (bobble head presented by Sport Seasons). Blueliner Roman Josi debuts on Feb. 7 against the New York Rangers (bobble head presented by Hermitage Lighting Gallery). And finally, defenseman Seth Jones wraps up the collection on March 29 versus the Calgary Flames (bobble head presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of TN). The Preds are 5-1-(2)-0 all-time on bobble head nights in Nashville. They’ll be looking to improve upon that record in the coming weeks.
For your entertainment, a few top facts about the players selected to complete the Predators bobble head series and perhaps some insight into why they were chosen.
