Nashville, TN - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile today announced that the club has recalled defenseman Anthony Bitetto and goalie Juuse Saros from Milwaukee (AHL) and assigned forward Cody Bass and goalie Marek Mazanec to Milwaukee.
Bitetto, 26 (7/15/90), played in two games for the Admirals on a conditioning assignment and recorded one assist, five shots on goal, and a +1 rating. He has appeared in one game for the Predators this season. He skated 4:42 in the season opener against Chicago on Oct. 14, recording five penalty minutes. Bitetto appeared in 28 contests for the Preds last season and earned six points (1g-5a) and 19 penalty minutes.
Saros, 21 (4/19/95), is 9-1-0 with a 1.59 goals-against average and .945 save percentage in 10 games with the Admirals this season. Recalled on an emergency basis to the Preds on Oct. 22, Saros started and earned the win in a 5-1 victory against Pittsburgh. He stopped 34 of the 35 shots he faced, allowing just one goal in 59:22 of ice time. It was Saros' first career NHL victory and second NHL game.

The Preds return to action tomorrow vs. Winnipeg at 5:00 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on FOX Sports Tennessee, beginning with the Predators Live! pregame show at 4:30 p.m. The contest can also be heard on the Preds flagship radio station, 102.5 The Game.
