Nashville, Tenn. (March 12, 2010) – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned defenseman Alexander Sulzer to Milwaukee (AHL).
Sulzer, 25 (5/30/84), played Tuesday in Atlanta after being recalled under emergency conditions on March 8. The Kaufbeuren, Germany native has a pair of assists in 19 games for the Predators in 2009-10 and has posted 22 points (5g-17a) in 22 games at the American Hockey League level. The 6-1, 196-pound blueliner represented Germany for the second consecutive Olympics in Vancouver last month.
The Predators play their next two games on the road – both of which will be broadcast on FOX Sports Tennessee – starting tonight at Anaheim (9 p.m. CT) and concluding the trip at Los Angeles on Sunday (2 p.m. CT). Nashville will return home March 16 when Philadelphia pays a rare visit to Bridgestone Arena, and it plays seven of its final nine games this month on home ice. Tickets to all nine remaining regular season home games are now on sale and can be purchased by logging onto nashvillepredators.com. Tickets are also available by calling (615) 770-PUCK and at all Ticketmaster locations.
