by Press Release / Nashville Predators
Nashville, Tenn. (March 4, 2009) – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned forward Cal O’Reilly and defenseman Alexander Sulzer to the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

O’Reilly, 22 (9/30/86), played his first two career NHL games during a five-day recall, posting an assist in his National Hockey League debut on Saturday vs. Detroit. With the Admirals this season, he ranks among the AHL leaders in assists (46) and points (57). Sulzer, 24 (5/30/84), sustained a separated shoulder during the first period of his only game during his most recent recall, and missed the past 17 games due to injury. He has appeared in two games with the Predators this season, and is the first and only German-born player to suit up for the Predators. With Milwaukee this season, he has 31 points in 43 games.

The Predators will look to extend the NHL’s longest active winning streak to six games tomorrow night when they host the Central Division rival Columbus Blue Jackets 7 p.m. CT at the Sommet Center. Tickets to this and all Predators home games may be purchased online at, in addition to the Sommet Center box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, or by calling (615) 770-PUCK. The game will be broadcast on the Predators flagship radio station WGFX-104.5 The Zone.
