Nashville, Tenn. - The Nashville Predators announced Tuesday the introduction of four different partial season-ticket options for their 2006-07 National Hockey League schedule: the Half-Season Plan (23 games), the Ice Pack (13 games) the Rival Pack (13 games), and the all-new Flex Pack Plan.
The Half-Season Plan, Ice Pack, and Rival Pack all include Opening Night (Thursday, October 5 vs. Chicago) and the FANGtastic FANale (Thursday, April 5 vs. St. Louis) in addition to two games against the Predators' Central Division rival the Detroit Red Wings and a preseason tilt against the 2006 Stanley Cup Champion Carolina Hurricanes.
The Flex Pack Plan
gives fans the opportunity to select a minimum of 13 of the team'
s 43 games with variable pricing. Games are broken into three different pricing categories based on demand (Gold, Silver and Bronze), and the overall cost of the individual plan is tabulated via the customer'
s a la carte selections.
The Half-Season Plan (23 games) features Opening Night and the FANGtastic FANale as well as nine games against Central Division rivals (three games vs. Chicago, and two games each vs. Columbus, Detroit and St. Louis). It also includes games on Thanksgiving Day (vs. Vancouver), New Year's Day (vs. Colorado) and St. Patrick's Day (vs. Dallas). The package features 14 weekend dates and is available for as low as $308 per seat.
The Ice Pack (13 games) features the Home Opener, the FANGtastic FANale, Thanksgiving Day and New Year's Day games, five Central Division matchups (two games each vs. Chicago and Detroit and one game vs. St. Louis), and two games against both Colorado and Vancouver. Seven of the 13 dates in the Ice Pack Plan are weekend dates.
The Rival Pack (13 games) was created last season with the NHL's emphasis on divisional rivalries in mind. The Rival Pack features both Opening Night and the FANGtastic FANale, and includes nine games against Central Division foes (three games vs. St. Louis, and two games each vs. Chicago, Columbus and Detroit). It also contains games against Nashville's 2006 playoff foe, the San Jose Sharks, the Wayne Gretzky-led Phoenix Coyotes and the Toronto Maple Leafs, who will be making just their second trip ever to the Music City. Both the Ice Pack and Rival Pack start as low as $168 per seat.
Fans who purchase any of the partial plans will enjoy Opening Night commemorative T-shirts and other additional giveaways and fan-friendly promotions throughout the season.
