The Preds practiced with a full roster today as Patric Hornqvist (right) skated with the team for the entire session.

The practice focused heavily on special teams play as well as line drill within the offensive/defensive zones. Denis Grebeshkov worked in as a point-man for one of the power-play units, signifying that the defenseman may be close to returning early in the series.

Quote Room
Barry Trotz: We're a little more healthy than we've had going into the playoffs in the past, but more than that, just the type of players that we have. We may have had more speed or skill in certain areas in the past, but this team, I think, realizes that it has to play a certain way; has an identity. I don't think we stray from that too often this year."

Barry Trotz: Sutes and Webs get a lot of the accolades -- which they should get -- but I think the strength of our team is the depth. When we don't get the Suter/Weber match-up that we want the Hamhuis, Bouillon, Klein, Franson, Grebeshkov group can step in there and do a good job. It's not as big a deal (for us to get the match-ups) as maybe it is for some other teams. We're pretty confident they do a real good job and they do it under the radar a little bit.

Ryan Suter: They have so much firepower, so you have to grind it out against them. It's important to keep the puck down in their end and try to grind it out in their half of the ice; try to keep the puck away from their skilled guys as much as possible. They're going to want to hang on to the puck. We have to play them straight up and win the one-on-one (battles).
