With the Predators fourth-round pick (112th overall) they selected 21-year-old Swede, Viktor Arvidsson. The right winger has already competed for four years in Europe’s top professional league, the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). He put up a career high 40 points (16g-24a) in the 2013-14 season with Skelleftea. Arvidsson also helped Sweden earn the silver medal at the 2013 U-20 World Junior Championship in Russia, scoring four goals in six games (4g-1a-5pts). He has good speed, impressive creativity and bolsters a deadly wrist shot. He is known to be a high-effort, high-intensity player who has the potential to become an impact scorer in the NHL.
