Preds Introduce New Office Dog, Smash

Three-Month-Old Rescue Becomes Newest Member of Predators Front Office

The newest member of the Predators front office is also the most adorable.

Lord Banner of Smashville - a.k.a Smash - made his debut on Valentine's Day during a game stoppage alongside Duncan, the Preds original office dog.

Now that the bone has been passed, Smash, a three-month-old pup adopted from Keely's Friends Dog Rescue, will make appearances at the Predators Foundation area from time to time during games. He'll also make a home in the team's Bridgestone Arena offices during the workday, taking full advantage of the 401-k9 benefits available, no doubt.

Smash is also a member of Weber's Woof Pack, a club created by Preds defenseman Yannick Weber designed for your furry friends. Pets who sign up will receive a package with exclusive Preds pet merchandise, a card signed by Yannick, his fiancee Kayla and their dogs June and Willow, and the invitation to exclusive local dog park meet-ups with the couple. Most importantly, when you sign up and become a part of the Woof Pack, the proceeds will benefit the Nashville Humane Association.

Be on the lookout for Smash in Smashville and around town, and be sure to follow this very good boy on Instagram @predspup.
