Preds Hold Practice at Ford Ice Center

Nashville, Tenn. (January 12, 2015) – On Thursday, Jan. 15, the NHL-leading Nashville Predators will hold their first ever practice at Ford Ice Center in Antioch. Practice is free, open to the public and will feature free concession items, a free public skate and various giveaways. Ford Ice Center, which opened on Sept. 12, last hosted NHL players from Sept. 12-16 as part of the Nashville Predators Rookie Tournament, held in conjunction with the facility’s Grand Opening weekend.

WHAT:Nashville Predators Open Practice at Ford Ice Center

WHEN:Thursday, Jan. 15, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

WHERE:Ford Ice Center (5264 Hickory Hollow Parkway, Antioch, Tennessee, 37013)

(Ford Ice Center is located behind Antioch’s Global Mall at the Crossings)

NOTES:Full schedule of events is as follows:

10:45 a.m.-1 p.m. – Free food (Hunt Brothers Pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers and Pepsi)

11 a.m.-12 p.m. – Nashville Predators practice

12-1 p.m. – Free public skate (includes free skate rental)

*Giveaways will feature player bobble heads, tickets to upcoming games and more.

*Gnash and the Nashville Predators Ice Girls will be in attendance for photos and autographs.

*Fans are encouraged to bring along school supplies to donate to the Nashville Predators Homework Hotline School Supply Drive (will continue into Friday’s game against Washington).
