Nashville, Tenn. (November 4, 2015) – On Tuesday, Nov. 10, the Nashville Predators are teaming up with Second Harvest Food Bank, UnitedHealthcare and media partners FOX 17 and 102.5 The Game to host a food drive.
Where: Those wishing to participate can drive by the Bridgestone Arena Plaza on Fifth Avenue. Preds staff and game personalities, Gnash and UnitedHealthcare and Second Harvest Food Bank volunteers, will meet participants at their vehicles to accept donations. Throughout the day, activities will be available on the plaza with food trucks on hand during lunch hours.
When: Tuesday, Nov. 10 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Notes: The Preds will be accepting both monetary donations and non-perishable food item donations. The most needed items are peanut butter, canned meat (chicken/tuna), canned fruits and vegetables, soups and stews, pasta and cereal. Over the course of the food drive, those who donate food will have the opportunity to receive prizes and discounted tickets to future games.
