Preds Fans in All Places

by Staff Writer / Nashville Predators

Predators-nation is expanding across the globe. Recently a pair of servicemen e-mailed pictures from Afghanistan.

Bruce Burrus and Jay Jennings, members of the Joint Logistics Command, a role currently filled by the Fort Campbell-based 101st Sustainment Brigade of the 101st Airborne Division, are big Predators fans and follow the club's progress through the internet. Since most Predators games end around 8 am local time, Burrus and Jennings log on after their morning workouts to see how things went, sometimes even catching the final moments of the game by hitting the refresh button on the web updates.

"In March, NBC will be showing two Preds-Red Wings games; we hope they'll be carried on the Armed Forces Network so we can see them - even if it's a 3 AM wakeup," Jennings said. "We have a midguided Red Wings fan down the hall from us in the headquarters; we're working on him."
