Prior to another win for the Predators on the ice, the organization scored another victory off of it as they announced a multi-year extension to their partnership with Fifth Third Bank as the official bank of the Preds and Bridgestone Arena.
Predators President and CEO Sean Henry, along with Fifth Third Bank Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Office Lars Anderson, made the announcement during the Fifth Third Better bash on the Bridgestone Arena Plaza prior to Thursday's game in Nashville.
A partnership that started back in 2011, the two sides agreed to re-up their deal a year before it was set to expire, showing the unrivaled commitment between the two organizations.

"It's been so important for us as we've raised our brand, and all these rabid Preds fans that are so excited about this brand," Anderson said. "We've been able to really bond with them, we're growing our franchise with them, and all of this coming together, frankly, we're able to invest more into the community and make this a better place to live… We're really proud to be the partner of the Preds."
"When we walk about partners, there's no one better than Fifth Third," Henry said. "They bought into our philosophy eight years ago, and when we talked about what we were going to build, they didn't laugh at us, they embraced it. They brought everything to life with us, they're Smashville's bank, they're part of our DNA and we're part of theirs."
As the partnership has continued to evolve over the years, Henry said one thing became clear from those who rely on Fifth Third as the official currency of Smashville - the fans wanted more perks. Now, more than ever before, they're being delivered.
Fifth Third Bank clients who possess a Predators debit card can enjoy discounts on tickets to home Predators games and Bridgestone Arena concerts, as well as savings in the Predators Team Store and on activities at Ford Ice Center.
In addition, fans can show their Predators debit card for early access into Bridgestone Arena before all Preds home games, a 30-minute head start on everyone else.
If you're a Predators fan, banking with Fifth Third might be what you would call a no-brainer.
"They love that we celebrate hockey in a nontraditional fashion, and they bank in a nontraditional fashion," Henry said. "They really try to break down barriers between them and their clients, as we do with our guests… We know our fans like getting in early, and that's one more way to get in early and partner with the best bank in the area."
