As part of the organization's continuing effort to educate and grow the local hockey community, the Nashville Predators routinely conduct youth clinics for area teams. Between the months of November and January, over 250 local youth hockey players participated in Predators Player Clinics at local rinks.

The clinics, designed to teach young players basic hockey skills needed to excel in the game, featured various Predators players who dedicated their time to offer instruction to players from Termite (ages 4-6), Mite (ages 6-8), Squirt (ages 8-10) and Pee Wee (ages 10-12) house and travel teams in the Middle Tennessee area.

Over the course of three clinics, Nashville Predators Amateur & Youth Hockey staff along with Predators players Vernon Fiddler, Scott Hartnell, Darcy Hordichuk, Alexander Radulov, Jerred Smithson, Ryan Suter, Josef Vasicek and Marek Zidlicky assisted with coaching on-ice drills aimed to enhance the youngsters' talent. The Preds players stressed the importance of basic hockey skills--skating, stickhandling, passing, and shooting. Participants received Predators' giveaways and had the opportunity to receive an autograph from their favorite Predators players.

Predators Player Clinics are hosted by the Nashville Predators Amateur & Youth Hockey Department throughout the season as a part of the organization's mission to support and develop youth hockey within the community. Clinics are free to participants and designed to give youth hockey players a chance to improve their hockey skills and interact with Predators players and staff in a fun and challenging environment.
