Preds Call Up Forward Ryan Jones From Milwaukee (AHL)

Nashville, Tenn. (December 11, 2008) – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Ryan Jones from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.


Jones, who started the season with Nashville and has six points (3g-3a) in 15 games with the Predators this season, was reassigned to the Admirals on November 20. The 6-2, 215-pound forward has posted nine points (6g-3a) and a +4 rating in eight games with Milwaukee.

The Predators (14-12-2) visit the Columbus Blue Jackets (11-13-3) at Nationwide Arena at 6:00 p.m. CT tonight. The game will be televised locally on FS Tennessee and will also be available on the Predators flagship radio station –WGFX-104.5 FM The Zone. The Predators will return home Saturday night to face the Dallas Stars (10-13-4) at 7:00 p.m. CT at the Sommet Center.
