Preds Award Scholarships To 4 Local High School Seniors

The Nashville Predators Foundation recently announced four recipients of the 2012 Jack Diller Education Award. A total of $10,000 in college scholarships was awarded to the four students, who were selected from high school seniors across the state who applied for the award. Applicants were required to meet the following criteria: Be a college-bound senior currently attending college in the Fall of 2012; display leadership qualities in the classroom and inspirational qualities on the athletic field; and demonstrate the value of education, good work ethic and community outreach. All candidates were nominated by either a teacher, coach or college counselor.
The 2012 recipients of the Jack Diller Education Award are:

The four students were recognized at a presentation during the March 24 Predators game. This is the seventh year of the award, which is named in honor of Jack Diller, the first president in Nashville Predators franchise history. Diller, who retired in July 2005, is the current Chairman of the Predators Foundation.
