Preds Activate Tootoo off IR, Reassign Peverley to AHL

Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has activated forward Jordin Tootoo off of injured reserve and assigned forward Rich Peverley to the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Tootoo, who missed the past 19 games due to a groin injury suffered Jan. 7 at Anaheim, has recorded seven goals and 13 points in 41 games this season. His seven goals and 13 points both represent career-highs.

Peverley has scored two goals and six points in 21 games with the Predators this season. He has also posted nine goals and 38 points in 36 games AHL games with Milwaukee during the 2007-08 campaign.

The Predators travel to Minnesota tonight to face the Northwest Division leading Wild (7 pm start), before returning home for a three-game homestand next week against Edmonton (Tues, Feb. 19), Vancouver (Thurs, Feb. 21), and Dallas (Sat., Feb. 23).
