Predators to Hold "Month of Awesome" Leading up to 2016 NHL® All-Star Game

by Press Release / Nashville Predators

Nashville, Tenn. (December 30, 2015) - In celebration of 2015 coming to a close, and in anticipation of the great things that are in store for 2016, such as the 2016 NHL® All-Star Game coming to Nashville on Jan. 30-31, the Nashville Predators are declaring January to be the “Month of Awesome.”

Each day during the month, the team will celebrate the proclaimed “Month of Awesome” in one of four ways: Either a season-ticket holder will be randomly selected to have their next month’s ticket installment paid, a Preds enthusiast will receive four concert tickets with Lexus Lounge access to an upcoming show at Bridgestone Arena, a member of Smashville will have their hockey league enrollment at Ford Ice Center paid in full, or a fan will have the opportunity to win autographed Nashville Predators memorabilia.

“With all the phenomenal events taking place in January, it made us realize that we need to do something to celebrate it with the most passionate fans in all of sports,” Predators President and CEO Sean Henry said. “Predators fans helped make the All-Star Weekend in Nashville happen, and now we’re going to pay them back with the Month of Awesome.”

To have a chance to participate in the month of awesome, all fans have to do is follow the team on Twitter @PredsNHL or like the team on Facebook (search Nashville Predators Hockey Team). Preds season-ticket holders will be automatically included. One person will be selected at random every day for the 31 days in January.

The Nashville Predators face off against the Dallas Stars tomorrow in a New Year’s Eve tilt in Dallas (7:30 p.m., TV: FOX Sports Tennessee; Radio: 102.5 The Game), before departing to Raleigh to take on the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday. The team returns from their three-game trip on Tuesday, Jan. 5 to play the Winnipeg Jets (7 p.m., TV: FOX Sports Tennessee; Radio: 102.5 The Game). All Tuesday home games are Nissan Tuesday contests, where fans can purchase a pair of Upper Bowl tickets for $60, or a pair of Lower Bowl tickets for $120, and receive a free Gold ice scraper. Tickets to the game – as well as the other contests in January are limited and available by visiting NashvillePredators.com or by calling 615-770-7800.
