Predators Set Opening Night Roster

Nashville Opens 2017-18 Regular Season on Thursday in Boston

Nashville, Tenn. (October 3, 2017) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Tuesday that the team has assigned forwards Frederick Gaudreau and Vladislav Kamenev to the American Hockey League's Milwaukee Admirals. Additionally, defenseman Ryan Ellis and forward Nick Bonino have been designated non-roster.

The Predators begin the 2017-18 season - their 20th as a National Hockey League franchise - at the Boston Bruins on Thursday, Oct. 5 at 6 p.m. CT. A rematch of last season's Stanley Cup Final follows at 6 p.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 7 as the Preds take on the Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena. Nashville will then return home to Bridgestone Arena to host the Philadelphia Flyers and raise their Western Conference Championship banner in the home regular season opener on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. CT. All three games will be broadcast on FOX Sports Tennessee and 102.5 The Game.
