Predators recall Nichol from Admirals

Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled center Scott Nichol (NIH-kohl) from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League. 

Nichol, 31 (12/31/74), posted eight points (3g-5a), 18 penalty minutes and a +6 rating in six games on his conditioning assignment with the Admirals.  The Edmonton, Alta. native missed 29 NHL games with a broken foot suffered on November 5 at Los Angeles.  In 10 games with Nashville this season, Nichol has one assist, 24 penalty minutes and a +3 rating.

The Predators' roster stands at 22 with one player (David Legwand) on injured reserve.

Nashville (29-12-6) is in Detroit for a back-to-back set tonight and Tuesday night against the Red Wings (32-12-3).  Both games start at 6:30 p.m. CT and both will be televised locally on FSN South.  Tonight's game will be broadcast on SportsRadio 560-AM while Tuesday night's radio broadcast will be on 104.5-FM The Zone.
