Predators recall Lehtonen

Nashville, Tenn. (January 27, 2007) - Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled defenseman Mikko Lehtonen (MEE-koh LEHT-oh-nehn) from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League and reassigned forward Alexander Radulov (al-eh-AN-duhr RAD-uh-lahf) to Milwaukee.


Lehtonen, 28 (6/12/78), playing his first season in North America, has eight points (4g-4a) and 26 penalty minutes in 24 games with Milwaukee this season. The 6-1, 194-pound blueliner, has one goal and two assists (1g-2a-3pts) in 15 contests with Nashville this season. He was originally Nashville's ninth choice, 271st overall, in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.

The Predators (35-12-3) take on the Central Division rival St. Louis Blues (20-21-8) on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. CT at the Scottrade Center. The game will be televised locally on FSN South and broadcast on The Zone (WGFX 104.5-FM).
