Predators recall Leahy from AHL

Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced Tuesday that the club has recalled forward Patrick Leahy (PAT-rihk LAY-hee) from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.  

Leahy, 27 (6/9/79), has posted 29 points (10g-19a) and 28 penalty minutes in 51 games for the Admirals this season.  The 6-3, 200-pound Brighton, Mass. native made his Nashville debut on December 9 at San Jose.  Prior to this season, he appeared in 49 NHL games with the Boston Bruins in 2003-04 and 2005-06, registering four goals and four assists (4g-4a-8pts).

The Predators and San Jose Sharks open their 2007 Western Conference Quarterfinal Playoff series tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. at the Nashville Arena.  The game will be televised locally on FSN South and broadcast on 104.5-FM The Zone.
