Predators recall Langfeld from Milwaukee

Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Josh Langfeld from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Langfeld, 30 (7/17/77), has appeared in 141 NHL games with Ottawa, San Jose, Boston and Detroit, posting 32 points (9g-23a) and 60 penalty minutes. In 14 games with Milwaukee in 2007-08, the Fridley, Minn., native has nine points (6g-3a), including five points (3g-2a) in his last five games.

Nashville also placed defenseman Shea Weber on injured reserve retroactive to Dec. 22, and defenseman Ryan Suter on injured reserve retroactive to Dec. 26

The Predators (17-18-2) visit American Airlines Arena in Dallas to take on the Stars (23-12-4) on Monday night at 7:30 p.m. CT.  The game will be broadcast on 104.5 The Zone (WGFX 104.5-FM).
