Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced Friday that the club has recalled forward Alexander Radulov (al-eh-AN-duhr RAD-uh-lahf) from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.
Radulov, 20 (7/5/86), has posted seven points (3g-4a) in three games with the Admirals this season and was named the American Hockey League's CCM Vector/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending October 15. In two games, the 6-1, 188-pound forward tallied two goals and four assists along with a plus-3 rating. The Nizhni Tagil, Russia native posted four points (2g-2a) in six preseason games with the Predators.
Radulov, Nashville's first choice, 15th overall (first round), in the 2004 Entry Draft, was named the 2005-06 Canadian Hockey League Player of the Year after leading the entire CHL with 152 points (61g-91a) in 62 games for Quebec (QMJHL). He added 55 points (21g-34a) in 23 playoff contests, and was named tournament MVP as the Remparts captured the Memorial Cup championship.
Nashville has placed defenseman Greg Zanon on injured reserve.
