Predators recall forward Patrick Leahy

Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Patrick Leahy (PAT-rihk LAY-hee) from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Leahy, 27 (6/9/79), has posted 10 points (6g-4a) and 18 penalty minutes in 23 games for the Admirals this season.  The 6-3, 200-pound Brighton, Mass. native appeared in 49 NHL games with the Boston Bruins in 2003-04 and 2005-06, registering four goals and four assists (4g-4a-8pts).

Nashville (18-7-3) takes on the San Jose Sharks (20-9-0) on Saturday night at 9:30 p.m. CT at the H.P. Pavilion.  The game will be televised locally on FSN South and broadcast on 104.5-FM The Zone.

The Predators finish off the month of December with seven of 10 games on home ice, starting with a tilt Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. against the Edmonton Oilers (15-10-2).  Tickets for these games are still available; tickets for the entire Predators’ 2006-07 regular-season home schedule may be purchased at the GEC box office, all Ticketmaster outlets or by calling (615) 770-PUCK.  They may also be purchased at nashvillepredators.com or nashvillepredators.com or ticketmaster.com
