Predators Prospect Update (Feb. 6)

by Staff Writer / Nashville Predators
Preds prospects have helped their respective teams to significant team success this season. In the Canadian Junior ranks, Jonathon Blum has captained Vancouver to the No. 3 ranking the CHL Top 10. Vancouver and Tri-Cities, led by Preds goaltending prospect Chet Pickard, are two of three teams to clinch a playoff spot in the WHL already this season.

In the college ranks, Colin Wilson has led Boston University to the No. 1 ranking in the nation, one slot ahead of Notre Dame, with Preds prospects Ben Ryan and Ryan Thang. Wilson ranks among the NCAA scoring leaders and is one of the top contenders for the Hobey Baker Award, college hockey's equivalent to the Heisman Trophy.
