The good news keeps coming in the remarkable recovery of Predators forward Kevin Fiala

The 20-year-old winger, who suffered a broken femur in the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs, is way ahead of schedule in his recovery and a photo on Instagram on Thursday helped to show just how far.

Fiala posted a photo to Instagram of his first skate at Bridgestone Arena since his injury in Game One against the St. Louis Blues on April 26.

On June 14, Nashvile General Manager David Poile said the doctors caring for Fiala have never seen an individual progress at the rate the Swiss forward is and that he expects Fiala to be ready for Preds Training Camp, which opens Sept. 14 in Nashville. Fiala returning to the ice on Thursday certainly supports that belief.

What a great feeling to be back on the ice again
