Predators Foundation to Donate $20,000 to Tornado Relief Efforts

by Staff Writer / Nashville Predators

Nashville, Tenn. (February 8, 2008) – The Nashville Predators Foundation announced on Friday that they have donated $20,000 to the American Red Cross’ tornado relief efforts in the wake of the Feb. 5 tornados that effected the Southeast. The money was raised by a combination of ticket revenue from Thursday’s contest vs. Tampa Bay and donations by fans at that night's game.

“I’d like to thank our fans that chose to come out to the game and buy tickets, knowing that a portion of that money would go to the Red Cross, as well as the fans that stepped up and graciously donated funds at the game,” said Ed Lang, Predators’ President of Business Operations.
