Predators call up Fiddler from Milwaukee

Nashville, Tenn. (November 19, 2005) - Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled center Vernon Fiddler from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League. 

Fiddler, 25 (5/9/80), has appeared in two games with Nashville this season while he has compiled six points (1g-5a) and 20 penalty minutes in 11 games with the Admirals.  The 5-11, 204-pound pivot has posted six points (4g-2a) in 38 career NHL games with the Predators.

The Predators' roster stands at 23 with two players (Scott Nichol and Scott Walker) on injured reserve.

The Predators (12-2-3) take on the Minnesota Wild (8-9-2) tonight at 7:00 p.m. CT at the Xcel Energy Center.  The game will be televised locally on FSN South and broadcast on Sportsradio 560-AM.
