NHL Deputy Commissioner Delivers Presidents' Trophy to Nashville in Pregame Ceremony

Prior to their 2017-18 regular-season finale on Saturday, the Nashville Predators were presented with the Presidents' Trophy by NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly in front of a raucous crowd at Bridgestone Arena.
Awarded annually to the club with the best overall record, the Predators clinched the honor on Thursday night in Washington, just minutes after becoming Central Division and regular-season Western Conference champions for the first time in team history.
Entering into their final contest of the 2017-18 season, a campaign that has become their best in their 20-year history, the Predators possessed a record of 52-18-11, good for 115 points and a view atop the League standings. The 52 wins and 115 points are both franchise records.
The Predators will begin their journey in the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs next week. A full schedule and further details will be announced soon.
