Predators Announce "Golden Giveaways" Offering the Most Promotional Items in Franchise History

Nashville, Tenn. (September 23, 2015) – The Nashville Predators will be offering promotional giveaway items for a franchise-record 18 home games during the 2015-16 regular season, with premium items being given away to fans wearing Gold on select nights. In addition, this season fans will also have an opportunity to be more involved in choosing those giveaway items by voting on NashvillePredators.com/VoteGoldenGiveaways.

“We have worked hard over the years to make Gold a distinctive color for our franchise,” Predators President and COO Sean Henry said. “The inclusion of our fans into the decision-making process for giveaways gives them a greater role and reinforces the importance of wearing Gold to make Bridgestone Arena the toughest place to play in the League.”

Many of the promotional giveaway items will be a part of the club’s “Golden Saturdays” campaign, which will take place at each of their 14 Saturday home games. During Saturday home contests, the team will be introducing promotions, events, giveaways and in-arena campaigns centered on the theme, and players will skate out wearing Gold helmets.

The Predators are commencing the season by offering a promotional night giveaway item to every home game during the month of October, starting with a gold jersey rally towel, presented by Nissan. On Saturday, Oct. 10, the club will give away foam helmets to the first 10,000 fans wearing Gold in celebration of the first “Golden Saturday” of the season. Although giveaway items have already been selected through Nov. 14, fans will have the opportunity to vote for the remainder of the giveaways by going to NashvillePredators.com/VoteGoldenGiveaways. Throughout the season, the team will actively monitor the vote totals and respond accordingly to the wishes of the fans.

Saturday, Oct. 24 vs. Pittsburgh: Terry Crisp Halloween mask/FIRST 16,000 FANS WEARING GOLD

Saturday, Nov. 14 vs. Winnipeg: Luggage bag tag (presented by Metro Nashville Airport)
