November Teacher of the Month named

by Staff Writer / Nashville Predators

The Nashville Predators have named Betty Anderson of West Elementary School the Predators Teacher of the Month for November. "Miss Betty Anderson, a teacher for 30 years, is a teacher that students never forget!" writes West Elementary's principal, Lisa Majors. "Her wit and humor make her classroom fun and memorable!"

The Predators Teacher of the Month program selects teachers based upon the principal's portrayal of how this teacher has impacted students, school faculty and others around them. The Predators will target a different county in the greater Nashville area each month. Applications will be distributed by the Predators to the principals.

The selected teachers will be rewarded by a surprise visit from the Predators mascot GNASH. The organization will also present a certificate and a Predators gift basket to the teacher. In addition, the Teacher of the Month will be featured on our Web site and at a game that they will attend.

For more information on the program, visit the Predators Teacher of the Month page.
