The Predators are currently slated to add eight players via the 2021 NHL Draft, and the official order of selection has been announced.

Nashville's first pick will come at No. 19 overall in Round 1, and the Preds own three of the first 50 selections in the Draft, which will take place virtually for the second-consecutive year.

Predators General Manager David Poile and his staff will set up shop inside their Bridgestone Arena offices as they navigate through the two-day event.

The Draft begins with Round 1 on Friday, July 23, at 7 p.m. CT - broadcasted live on ESPN2 in the United States - and Rounds 2-7 will follow on Saturday, July 24, starting at 10 a.m. CT on NHL Network.

The Preds officially own the following picks in the 2021 Draft:

- No. 19 (Round 1)*

- No. 40 (Round 2, from Los Angeles)

- No. 51 (Round 2)

- No. 83 (Round 3)

- No. 115 (Round 4)

- No. 124 (Round 4, from Colorado via Ottawa)

- No. 147 (Round 5)

- No. 179 (Round 6)

* The Preds originally held the No. 18 overall selection in the 2021 NHL Draft, however, the NHL has said the following: "Pick 11 - The NHL directed the forfeiture of this pick in sanctions against the Arizona Coyotes announced Aug. 26, 2020."

Therefore, the Preds officially own pick No. 19 in Round 1.
