Nashville, Tenn. (September 6, 2017) - Following the cancellation of the 2017 Rookie Tournament in Estero, Florida, due to Hurricane Irma, the Nashville Predators announced Wednesday they will host the Tampa Bay Lightning in a three-game rookie camp series at Ford Ice Center in Antioch, Tennessee, from Sept. 9-12.
The two teams will face off on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 2 p.m. CT and Sunday, Sept. 10 at 12 p.m. CT before reconvening on Tuesday, Sept. 12 for the final game at 11 a.m CT.

All three games will be open to the public. Along with Nashville's
ongoing hurricane relief efforts
, the Predators will be collecting $10 donations at the door benefiting Hurricane Irma relief. Additionally, fans are invited to bring donation items to Ford Ice Center or Bridgestone Arena for collection. Items needed include: new socks and underwear, OTC medications, first aid supplies, phone chargers, face masks, work and plastic gloves, towels and bed linens.

Additionally, the Ford Ice Center will host the Mattias Ekholm Clinic presented by Delta Dental of Tennessee benefiting Make-A-Wish of Middle Tennessee on Saturday, Sept. 9 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Qualified instructors on the ice will include Ekholm, surprise guests from the Predators and members of the Ford Ice Center hockey staff and Preds Amateur Hockey Development staff. Registration for the clinic is currently full.
