Nashville Predators Set 2019-20 Opening Night Roster

Predators Open 2019-20 NHL Season Thursday at Home Against Minnesota

Nashville, Tenn. (October 1, 2019) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/GM David Poile announced Tuesday that the team has assigned forward Miikka Salomaki and defenseman Steven Santini to Milwaukee (AHL).

Nashville's 22-player opening night roster is consists of 14 forwards, seven defensemen and two goaltenders. The complete roster is available by clicking here.

The Predators begin the 2019-20 season - their 22nd as a National Hockey League franchise - at home against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday at 7 p.m. CT. Nashville begins the season with four straight contests at Bridgestone Arena, a homestand that includes games against Detroit (Saturday), San Jose (Oct. 8) and Washington (Oct. 10). Thursday's season opener will be broadcast live on the NBC Sports Network while Saturday's contest against the Red Wings can be seen on FOX Sports Tennessee; 102.5 The Game and the Predators Radio Network will carry all 82 regular-season games live. 

Start your Opening Night at the 2019 Gold Walk presented by Nissan, when your Nashville Predators walk the GOLD carpet along with Preds coaches and broadcasters, beginning at 3:30 p.m.! Doors to Bridgestone Arena will open following the Gold Walk, and all fans will receive an LED bracelet and Central Division Champions mini banner! The season-opening matchup between the Predators and the Wild will kick off at 7 p.m.
