Nashville, Tenn. (October 28, 2014) – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that forward Viktor Stalberg has been sent to the American Hockey League’s Milwaukee Admirals on a conditioning assignment. The Admirals host the Iowa Wild on Wednesday (7 p.m. CT) before playing a home and home with Rockford this weekend.
Stalberg, 28 (1/17/86), has zero points and eight penalty minutes in five games for the Predators this season. He missed the final eight days of training camp and first three games of the regular season. In 318 career NHL games, he has 122 points (60g-62a).
The Nashville Predators will play their next six games on the road as the team’s home, Bridgestone Arena, hosts the Country Music Association (CMA) Awards. Nashville starts the road trip on Wednesday, Oct. 29 in Edmonton at 9 p.m. CT (FOX Sports Tennessee/102.5 The Game) and continues on to visit Calgary, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Dallas and St. Louis. The Preds return to Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday, Nov. 11 to take on the Edmonton Oilers.
