Nashville, Tenn. – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Taylor Beck from Milwaukee (AHL).
Beck, 22 (5/13/91), leads the Admirals in points with 27 (11g-16a) in 35 games, including 11 (3g-8a) in his last seven outings. This is the second recall of the 2013-14 season for the 6-2, 206-pound right wing – he suited up for the Predators on Nov. 8 at Winnipeg and Nov. 12 at the New York Islanders. Nashville’s fourth choice, 70th overall (third round), in the 2009 Entry Draft saw his first NHL action a season ago, amassing seven points (3g-4a) in 16 games.
The Nashville Predators hit the road for a four-game Western Canadian swing that will see them play the Vancouver Canucks tomorrow (9 p.m. CT), the Calgary Flames on Friday (8 p.m. CT), the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday (7 p.m. CT) and the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday (7 p.m. CT). All games will be broadcast on FOX Sports Tennessee and 102.5 The Game. Following the trip, the Preds return to the Music City on Friday, Jan. 31 to face-off against the New Jersey Devils (7 p.m. CT).
