Nashville, Tenn. (March 29, 2019) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Friday that the team has recalled goaltender Troy Grosenick from Milwaukee (AHL) under emergency conditions.
Grosenick, 29 (8/27/89), is 19-14-5 in 40 games played for the Admirals this season, his first with the club. He currently sits tied for seventh in the AHL in save percentage (.917) and 11th in goals-against average (2.49) and minutes played (2,316:55). The 6-foot-1 goaltender represented the Admirals at the 2019 AHL All-Star Classic - his second appearance at the event - and is a veteran of 18 Calder Cup Playoff games, going 9-7 with two shutouts.

Never drafted, Grosenick is in his sixth professional season and has posted a 107-74-21 record in 215 AHL appearances to go along with a 2.58 goals-against average and 14 shutouts. The Brookfield, Wis., native has played in two NHL games with the San Jose Sharks - stopping 55 of 58 shots faced - and pitched a shutout in his League debut on Nov. 16, 2014 at Carolina. Prior to turning pro, he spent three seasons at Union College and was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award in 2012 as he helped lead the Dutchmen to the Frozen Four for the first time in school history.
