Nashville, Tenn. (December 20, 2018) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Thursday that the club has loaned forward Eeli Tolvanen to the Finland National Junior Team, which begins play at the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship in Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia, on Dec. 26.
Tolvanen, 19 (4/22/99), has skated in four games for the Predators this season, posting a goal and two points along with a +2 rating. He scored his first career NHL goal and later added an assist for his first career multi-point game on Dec. 1 versus Chicago, his season debut. In 24 games with Milwaukee, Tolvanen has recorded four goals and 12 points, tied for the sixth-most on the Admirals. The 5-foot-10, 190-pound forward made his NHL debut on March 31, 2018, at Bridgestone Arena against Buffalo.
